Elisabeth Farny
Strategic Documentation Expert
I help organizations transform complex operational, technical and scientific information into clear, compliant, and decision-ready documentation.
As a bilingual (English/German) Strategic Documentation Expert, I work at the intersection of internal operations, regulatory compliance, and external growth. I bring over ten years of experience supporting government, healthcare, and life sciences programs across Europe and the United States.
My work is particularly focused on regulated environments, where documentation directly impacts operational performance, audit readiness, and funding success.
I specialize in:
🔹 Streamlining SOPs, WIs, and mission-critical documentation to ensure precision, consistency, and operational clarity
🔹 Designing process and compliance architectures that align workflows with regulatory requirements and reduce organizational risk
🔹 Providing technical documentation support for regulatory and IP/patent-related materials, including utility patent applications, claims and drawings
🔹 Optimizing proposals and technical volumes using APMP-aligned methodologies to increase clarity, credibility, and win probability
🔹 Supporting healthcare and life sciences organizations in positioning for funding, including SBIR/STTR and other competitive submissions
I am an active member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) and hold the BW-M APMP (Bid & Proposal Writing) certification.
With experience across U.S.–EU regulated environments, I deliver documentation that strengthens both internal operations and external credibility – ensuring that what organizations do internally is fully aligned with what they must demonstrate externally.
Outside of my work, I have a strong interest in ethnopharmacology and ethnobotany. I also run a side project called Austrian Alps Apothecary, where I document and preserve traditional Alpine herbal and mountain knowledge while reconnecting with my Austrian roots through nature, cultural heritage, and plant traditions.
